West of Sarlat, work has started on a long-awaited and desperately needed by-pass and round-about to take heavy tourist traffic away from the town centre. At present the town of Sarlat grinds to a standstill during the height of the tourist season as the heavy traffic causes bottle necks in this pretty and ancient town.
Works are under way in many other parts of the Department to facilitate the traffic flow and divert heavy through traffic from the centre of many of our beautiful and historic town centres. All of which proves that the excellent quality of life and beauty we enjoy here will continue to be safeguarded.| < Prev | Next > |
